COVID-19 Updates

The Carrington continues to follow CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health guidance to keep our residents and staff as safe as possible. We are providing the following information after reviewing the most recent IDPH guidance with our Director of Nursing Maria Medina and our Medical Director Dr. Patel.

Community Visitation Requirements

To enter the community, all visitors must complete a CDC questionnaire and receive a temperature screening.

Mask Requirements

As a continued safety precaution, masks are required in the community.

Dining Precaution

Dining room service has resumed for residents in our Independent Living, Assisted Living and Mezzanine areas. Our Memory Care residents are served in our dining areas at assigned tables.

Isolation

Isolation is implemented when a resident has confirmed positive test results for an infectious disease. Residents will receive contactless delivery of menus, meals, and items from our Market Store. Regular meal and store charges will apply, but meal delivery fees will be waived.

Residents may have visitors in their apartments when under Isolation. Visitors must wear full PPE when entering the apartment and remove/dispose of the PPE immediately upon exiting. An isolation cart with PPE and disposal container for PPE will be provided. Isolation is lifted after a medical professional (i.e. Nurse Practitioners from Hansa Medical Groupe) clears the resident.
